GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit, commonly known as a graphics card or video card. It’s the component in your computer that handles all the visual processing – everything from displaying your desktop to running the latest games. GPUs are made by companies like NVIDIA (GeForce RTX series) and AMD (Radeon RX series). If you’ve upgraded your gaming PC or no longer need your graphics card, that’s what we buy!
It’s simple! Select your graphics card on our website and tell us about its condition. We’ll give you an instant price quote. If you’re happy with the offer, provide your details via email and we’ll send you a free prepaid shipping label — either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery, depending on the value of your card. Drop your package at the local Post Office, we’ll receive it quickly, test it, and once it passes inspection, you’ll receive payment by bank transfer immediately.
We buy NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, including popular models like the RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070, RTX 3080, RTX 4070, RTX 4080, RX 6600 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6800, and many more. We accept cards from all major manufacturers including ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA, Zotac, and Sapphire. Check our website for the full list of GPUs we currently accept.
Our prices are competitive and typically higher than high street trade-in shops like CEX. The exact amount depends on the model, condition, and current market demand. You can get an instant quote on our website by selecting your GPU and describing its condition. We also pay a £10 bonus for graphics cards that arrive in their original retail box with all packaging and documentation.
Yes! Shipping within the UK is completely free. Once you accept our offer, we’ll email you a prepaid shipping label. For cards valued under £200, we use Royal Mail Tracked 24, and for cards valued at £200 or above, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery — which offers comprehensive insurance and guarantees delivery by 1pm the following day, meaning you could send your card in and have it checked and paid for in 24 hours!
What you’ll need:
- Bubble wrap (generous amount)
- Sturdy cardboard box (slightly larger than your GPU)
- Strong packing tape
- Anti-static bag (optional but recommended)
Packing steps:
- Protect from static (if possible): If you have an anti-static bag (from the original packaging or available cheaply from Amazon/electronics stores), place your GPU inside it. If you don’t have one, skip to step 2 – the bubble wrap method below will work fine.
- Cushion the GPU: Wrap the GPU in 3-4 layers of bubble wrap for impact protection. Make sure all components are covered, especially any exposed circuitry.
- Box it securely: Place the wrapped GPU in your box with at least 2 inches of bubble wrap cushioning on all sides (top, bottom, left, right, front, back).
- Eliminate movement: Fill any remaining gaps with bubble wrap or packing peanuts so the GPU cannot shift around. Give the box a gentle shake – if you hear or feel any movement, add more cushioning.
- Seal properly: Use strong packing tape to seal all edges of the box securely.
Important: The GPU should be completely immobilized inside the box. Movement during shipping is the main cause of damage, so the “shake test” is crucial – if it moves, add more cushioning.
Have the original box? Even better! Just put the GPU back in the original box with foam inserts, wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap, and you’re done.
Note: Never use regular plastic bags, cling film, or newspaper directly on the GPU as these can generate static electricity.
Your price quote is valid for 10 calendar days from the date you receive it. You must ship your graphics card within this period to secure the quoted price. If 10 days pass without shipment, we reserve the right to provide a revised offer based on current market prices. GPU prices can fluctuate with new product releases and market demand, so we recommend shipping promptly to lock in your price.
Once your graphics card arrives, our technicians will inspect it and run stress tests to verify it works correctly and matches the condition you described. If everything checks out, we’ll process your payment immediately via bank transfer. If there are any issues, we’ll contact you to discuss your options.
If your GPU doesn’t match the condition you described or fails our testing, we’ll contact you by email with your options. You can choose to: (a) accept a revised offer based on the actual condition, (b) have the graphics card returned to you, or (c) have it recycled. You have 10 days to respond – if we don’t hear back, the card will be stored pending recycling after 60 days.
We pay by bank transfer (BACS/Faster Payment) directly to your UK bank account. Payment is processed within 24 hours of your graphics card passing our inspection. You’ll need to provide your bank details (name, bank, sort code and account number) when you accept the offer. Please double-check your details are correct as we cannot be held responsible for payments not being sent due to incorrect information being provided.
You must be at least 18 years old and the legal owner of the graphics card (or authorised to sell it). The GPU must not be stolen, counterfeit, or subject to any outstanding finance. You’ll need a valid UK postal address for return shipments if needed, and a UK bank account for payment.
