Our Story
Hi, I’m Ben Hardyment, founder of GPU Workshop. I started this business because I was frustrated watching gamers get ripped off when selling their graphics cards. After years of seeing CEX offer £500 for cards worth £1,000, and watching people get scammed on eBay by dodgy buyers, I knew there had to be a better way.
My background is in building marketplaces that work for real people. I previously founded Zapper.co.uk – featured on BBCs Dragon’s Den, where I learned firsthand how important fair pricing and transparent processes are when buying and selling electronics. At Zapper, we processed thousands of trade-ins, and the one thing customers valued above all else was trust – knowing they’d get a fair price and actually receive their payment.

We know you’re waiting for that payment to fund your upgrade. With Royal Mail “Special Delivery”, your fully insured GPU will be with us the next day – by lunchtime. We then unpack, test, benchmark and pay for your GPU on the same day. We are aiming to have you paid within 24 hours of posting! If it can be done, we’ll do it.
